Introduction
AcuTest Systems (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as Practitioners Laboratory Sdn. Bhd.) has been pioneering high quality point-of-care testing in Malaysia since 1980’s.
In 2002, AcuTest was appointed the sole and exclusive distributor of the world-class external quality assurance (EQA) program developed by the RCPA Quality Assurance Programs Pty Ltd. (a not-for- profit company wholly owned by the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia). RCPAQAP remains the EQA market leader in Malaysia and Brunei.
Core Business and Strength
AcuTest offers comprehensive solutions to our customers ranging from assistance in key market development, sales & marketing to scientific, technical and after-sales engineering support.
Our main customers are primary clinics, hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, medical/health centres and institutions in both the private and public sectors. AcuTest Systems sales teams comprise of highly trained and experienced Area Sales Managers who in turn work closely with a dedicated team of Application Engineers to ensure optimal customer account management.
In East Malaysia and ASEAN region, AcuTest works through a trusted network of in-country partners with possess strong local presence and service capability.
Corporate Plan
AcuTest Systems will work creatively to maintain and accelerate the expansion of her current market leadership position in laboratory quality management system, point-of-care diagnostics and related treatments to enable doctors to deliver better healthcare to patients.
AcuTest Systems will also strive to obtain a sizeable market share in laboratory diagnostics and related equipment business; including leadership in niche testing sectors like allergy, diabetes and emerging fields such as anti-aging and wellness that offer good market growth potential. In the longer term, AcuTest Systems aim to position herself to participate in high technology medical and life sciences that include will include molecular, genome and proteomic testing, including a range of support services for the medical profession and public at large.

Teh Yuen Ting Tracy (Legal and Commercial Director)
Ms Teh graduated from University of Nottingham UK with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) Degree in 1996. She also obtained a Master Degree in Laws from University College London in 2002.
Ms Teh was a partner specialising in M&A and corporate commercial law in a leading private practise in Singapore for several years. Upon return to Malaysia, she joined the legal team in Shell for close to a decade before joining Acutest in 2017.
