Acutest is proud of its long-standing partnership with The Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia Quality Assurance Programs (RCPAQAP), which started almost 20 years ago. Acutest helped launch the first RCPAQAP External Quality Assurance (EQA) programs in Malaysia. Many local government medical institutions and top private commercial laboratories adopted the programs, quickly making RCPAQAP the EQA market leader till this day.

RCPAQAP mission is to provide resources, products, services, data and insights for assessing the diagnostic and technical proficiency of laboratories in each discipline of Pathology and for the purposes of supporting patient safety, continuing medical education and research. This statement resonates with Acutests’ business philosophy and motivates us to work tirelessly to advance patient care outcomes and promote excellence in the laboratory services in Malaysia.

While some RCPAQAP competitors focus on laboratory scoring, RCPAQAP prefers a qualitative method that allows participants to evaluate their overall laboratory performance relative to peers and, wherever possible, to ensure that results are reported within clinically relevant allowable performance limits (APS).

RCPAQAP passion for continuing and enhancing education for laboratory professionals is evident through their strong commitment to R&D, continuous improvements to existing programs and new programs, and education support.
